What's Been and What's Ben

Tonight the KAUST movie theater is opening up. This will be the only movie theater/film theatre in Saudi Arabia. I don’t know yet what they will be showing (really doubt it will be the Kingdom). It will be nice having the cinema that sits prominently across the square across from my apartment finally open. Tickets are 5 SAR ($1.33). Wow. A bit different from the $10 in every other cinema in the world. It is a private theatre in terms of the requirement of getting onto campus.

Recommendation: Watch brief interviews with hideous men because it is the first film that made me want to rewatch it immediately afterwards to catch everything. It is about the effect of post-modern feminism on men as best I can tell. It was written (adapted), directed, and acted in a bit by the Office‘s John Krasinski (Jim) and featuring Will Arnett, Will Forte, and Ben Gibbard.
